Post Swap Frags for Sale

I'm just south of the city limits on hwy 27. Nice to know there's someone on here from my area. Hopefully I can start meeting some others from the local reef club. And you're right, there are no reefers at all that I know of around here.
I don't know much about the well water here, but the city water leaves a lot to be desired. Thank goodness for RODI.

No kidding. I love my RO/DI system. No more lugging buckets to/from the store or someone else's house.

I'm interested in a frag of Eagle Eye, 1 or 2 Orange and Green Clove polyps and some nuclear greens. Problem is my tank is still finishing its cycle and will probably be a weekish till its done(just waiting on nitrite to fall). Hoping you have some left!

If I were you and my tank were cycling, I'd skip the expensive ones (orange/green cloves) and go for the zoas and palys. I mean, I'll sell you those if you want! But I would wait on them if I were you.

Palys and zoas would be the first corals I'd add in but I'd wait more than a few days after a cycle to do it.

I don't want to tell you how to do your thing though! Happy to sell to you if you're dying to have them but I have plenty of all of these and you won't miss them if you wait a little while.

Thanks for the honesty this is my first SW tank so kinda in the dark on somethings. Might just start with a few frags of zoa's like you suggested either still waiting on the cycle!

Ok...sounds good. I don't want to make money off you enough that BAD. hah hah.

I think you should wait a bit and then you'll be a lot more likely to be successful!

Also, you might think about coming to our next reef club meeting. It should be a lot of fun! We have these big potlucks and you can ask all sorts of questions. A bunch of fairly experienced (albeit nutty) reefers go and you can see how someone has their tank set up. It's a great time!

Ya I probably should just keep telling myself patience!

I actually was planning on going to the frag swap to look around but my wife having my second child kinda pushed it to the side lol.

It was nice meeting you EvilMel. Thanks for the great frags. All of the polyps were opened within an hour of entering the DT and look amazing :)

OH no way! yaaaay! I'm glad they are doing well for you.

Just remember to drop off my boyfriend's lunch box for me. He doesn't even know it's gone yet! hah hah.

Ash won't let me use food container items for reefing... Once they are used, they are no longer allowed into the kitchen and have been donated to the cause.

Well, this is a box that holds containers so it's a *little* different. I don't know what I do it on purpose but when I use a kitchen item for the reef tank it usually gets so completely monopolized by the tank that I just buy another one for the kitchen.

e.g. corn brush that I used to use to scrub hair algae off. I don't have that issue anymore but I used to use that thing constantly when I was battling hair algae.
