I had this 3g Pico on my desk for about 3 year...these pictures were when it was first set up. When I took the little tank down most of the rocks where cover with zoa's, shroms, xenias and a green hammer.
The most challenging part of an office tanks is long weekends, holidays breaks, vacations and most companies going green and shutting down their A/C's on weekends"¦
Besides that you get 8-12 hours of constant enjoyment of your tank habitants"¦
The clowns' outgrowth the tank within a few months and were given away and I only kept a 1 yellow goby, 1 serpent star, 1 cleaner shrimp and one emerald crab.
"¢ I kept a small amount of chaeto behind the rocks
"¢ Half gallon water changes every week
"¢ At the end of the day I used to dripped my top off
i like your ideal of a mangrove tank... after seen the video of Julian Sprung's Sump and the bonsai mangrove in there i am digging that idea for my kids tank.
