I'm thinkingabout changeing some of my rock work around in my 120 gal.I'm looking for some ideas and pics on what others did .I was thinking about maybe glueing rocks or like tonga branches ,shelfs .to the left side and back of my tank .I think it would make the tank look more natural ,and ideas would help !!! Thanks everyone

Lots of pics, old and new are available. Just search "aquascape" or "rockscape".

Here are pics of mine for whatever it's worth. There are more aesthetically pleasing ones out there. Mine just works, allowing for flow within and around the 'scape, as well as provide a variety of levels and combinations of flow and shade.

My two tanks. I dont like lots of rock, but the 220 has quite a bit. The dimensions of your tank define a lot of what you can do with it. Both of my tanks have only rock islands with no rock touching the glass

Mine is 2 "pillars" or rockpiles however you want to look at it. Picture is a bit deciving, the "vally" between them runs at and angle.

pardon the crooked pic.

i have a few

all the base rock is sitting on 4-4 inch acrilic rod like table legs on a 4 inch sand bed. the water curculation on the sand is soft enough not to blow the sand around but enough to bring water under all teh rock.
