Okay,

I am currently trying to figure if its financially worth it to start breeding clowns. I have the breeding pair already, as a matter of fact the current little of eggs is going to hatch tonight (Tues).

Can some people please post pics of their setup, as well as descriptions?

Heres what i have so far...

46G bowfront breeding tank

55G empty tank

I was thinking of just having the 55G empty tank be the last step in the cycle....it will be where the clowns mature for the 3-6 months or so it takes them to get to a sellable size. It'll be COWLR (Clowns only with live rock lol)

then i will get a 5.5g hatching tank, where the eggs will be placed for hatching and the first 10-12 days until they can be transferred to

10g tank with sand with a filter that has a lot of sponge around it so they cannot get sucked into it. Probably some snails too so i dont have to clean it

but i really dont know a lot about the setup of these tanks and stuff. I woudl liek advice from people who have done it, with pictures if available. Im a student so am going to assess whether it is worht the initial investment, time, etc.

Also pics of how people breed rotifers and the algae that feeds them would be greatly appreciated.
