cool yeah i will definitely plan ahead, i really dont want to overstock just want everything to be vibrant and healthy/happy. ill probably hold off on new coral atleast for a few weeks see how everything does. havent had any major pitfalls as of now all my readings are spot on do w/c once a week. although i have a slight hair algae problem, any ideas? i already am cutting back on nutriants

Yeah No rush, hear it will look nicer if you take it slow. For the hair algae, you can get some blue hermits, a lawnmower blenny, both of those do good at removing it, do you run a skimmer, the GHA is there because of excess nutrients, as you already know..

just cut the lights back from 9hr to 7hr aswell, dont have a skimmer the weekly W/c should be enough correct? also stocking for this size tank with hemits ive read that its roughly 1 per 5g that would put me at 4-5 total i currently have 1 blue 2 reds ideas? just need more hermits/snails? i already planned on getting some margherita's or nerites 4 more would put me at 8 total that enough iyo?

Yea that will help too, you could also remove manually, but make sure you take it out, if you leave it in the water column it will just attach wherever it lands.. Yeah a WC once a week is good, but just remember this is normal in a new tank. IMO the blue ones just eat GHA, the red don't. those margaritas and nerites will be enough for now.. once you start adding more stuff you can probably get more, I have more snails than that, IMO you cant have too much, unless there is no food and they are dying
