Post your cool links here of anything you find interesting..

Cool. Thanks James. Ordered my pump tonight. Going to order my kits from ASM now.

How should I cut the holes?

I used a regular circular saw. Like they say, don't stop drilling half way through or your plastic will harden and cause cracking. I found the Uni-Seal to be the bugger. You will need that Uni-Seal for the other end of the recirculating pump, aka, your new sedra. If you need help or tips, I can swing by some time and assist you.

I'm doing all 3 mods.

Why do you say not to do the holes one over the other? From my reading on RC it seems that most are doing them that way.

Not for the faint of heart. . .the video in this link illustrates why we shouldn't taunt sea creatures with sharp teeth and powerful jaws. Cool footage of a moray eel, but knowing what was coming kept me cringing the entire time. Actually, these geniuses treating this moray like an underwater lapdog was more than enough to keep me cringing.

Moray, Sausages, and a lost thumb

That website sells a lot of metering equipment. For ph, alk and oxygen. I'm sure they are pretty expensive. But the quality is probably excellent!

I don't think so. Seems to be silica and not argonite. I think you'd be much safer staying with something like Carib sea.

Yeah, if that's a silicate sand, that's not a very good price at all. You can by something similar at Lowes for $5.
