Your Electrical Box looks amazing.

I guess the main reason I asked was just to make sure the a single outlet on the DC8 could support the load of 600watts of heaters or 2 250 MH lights. I was basically planning on doing what you said and using a 2-3 spot extension cord or even just wiring an outlet to a plug but was worried I might fry the outlet on the DC8

I hate to be a bother, but I have read this post 100 times!
I have programmed the feed cycle A to turn off my return to feed.
the count down works fine and the pumps turn off, the only problem is they don't turn the pumps back on. Am I missing something here?
This is what I have programmed.

Yes I do. They still won't turn on after the timer counts down,
and my feed timer B, I choose this one for the maint. on the tank, everything I choose to turn off for the maint. turns on at midnight with that code. UGH!
 
Rather than redirecting this thread perhaps if you would start a new thread and post your complete program folks here might be able to review your program and point out the issue..
 
Just hooking up my AC3 now. How does my program look? I am going to have my powerheads, return, and skimmer on 6. Is this ok? I want them staying on always, so let me know if that is achieved in this program. And let me know if Im forgetting anything. Thanks!

Well got the ACIII all set up. Replaced a tunze 7095, milwaukee ph controller, and an AC jr with the ACIII with an aquasurf box. The base stuff is from the AC jr and I added the pumps and co2 solenoid control on.

Are you plugging a powerbar to socket 6? if so should work as long as everything is under 6 amps.. (if i remember correctly)
 
Yes, thats correct. I have a koralia 1 and 2, return pump, and skimmer pump. I believe its under 6 amps, working good so far. Thanks!!
 
what program should i write if i want my heater to be off when my main pump is off? when i feed the fish i don't want my sump water getting too hot.

You can write:

If FeedA 000 Then HTR OFF

That turns whatever off when FeedA is on. Replace HTR with whatever you call your heater.

You can do the same for FeedB and so on.
 
Just go my AC3 on Friday. Here is what I have. I have a LiterMeter3 too, but can't seem to figure out how to use sensors to control it...I know people are using the AC3 with the Litermeter. Do I need to buy anything extra to use the Litermeter with the AC3?

If you want to use the ato solenoid i would suggest picking up the IO breakout box. this way you can control float switches. When one float is open (or closed depending on programming) it will cause teh ato solenoid to open allowing fresh RO/DI water to go in.

As for teh litermeter, im not familiar with its specs off teh top of my head but i thought that was a persistic pump that constantly runs but has tiny flow rate. If this is the case it should not be hard at all to program,.

I have a couple and use them differently. I have a relay which breaks the power connection to a remote (LMIII# pump and I plug the relay into the DCx; that way I can control ON time. For water makeup, for example I set the LMIII for the MAX I expect the tank to need in 24 hours #+ a little# and use the AC3 to control ON/OFF. This allows me to dose kalk #which I use for 100% water top off# evenly through out the day and night #no PH spikes#. I guess if I wanted to I could do something similar but schedule for the 12 hours at night so that I am dosing only at night but to be honest the day/night thing is overrated unless you are adding very large amounts of kalk #which is near impossible.

For CA reactor I use the LM3 but only use the AC3 to control a feed cycle that I use for maintenance or if I turn off return pump (so I don't drive PH in the sump too low).

I have even larger plans for the future but you get the idea I think...

Yes, except you only want HET not HET^ in the programming section. And, you need to spell out Timer, don't just use Tmr.
