Todd, its 60X24X24. Acrylic is already here and will prolly get started next weekend. This is going to be a slow project though. Hopefully it will be up and running by the end of 2007.

thats awesome russ, cant wait to see the build, I'm sure you are going to do some cool things with this tank.
Are the holes at the bottom on the front for returns ? going to 45 them toward the rock?

Also are you running the 2 stealth fixtures above the openings in the acrylic?

I love the 60 x 24 x 24 look, I actually think its better than the 180 at getting the proportion right. it seems deeper when you look at it.

The stealth reflectors will be on the 150 eventually. The holes on the bottom will be part of a CL on the OM 4 way that I will be getting from you here soon, powered with a Dart. Im not sure if it will be a 30 or 45 degree angle just yet. What ever it is, the pipe will be incased in some DIY rock so the pipe will not be visible. I just wont be able to adjust it after its set. The inside back of the tank will have a faux wall and I will be using some black pond foam and coated with epoxy resin after it has cured. Im also going to attept to make my own rocks and try to create pillars.

Are you going to be running as fuge with this? If not, why not run the overflow the whole width of the back instead of 2 small boxes?

Im still debating on a fuge since Im not really sure if its going to be a Zeo tank but there will be a sump. reason why there is 2 small overflows instead of one big one is, the tank will be butted up to the wall fairly tight. The gap between the boxes will allow me to run some pipes in between. Another reason, if I have one long overflow and a critter gets in there, It will be a pain for me to fish it out.
