Here are Nick and my rics. Nick has the five on the large disk (nice variety of colors). I have nine and got some more yellows so I am delighted. Also happy with one really bright orange one...I am babysitting Nick's until he comes back into town....

Is that a batfish?

No, it is a mermaid's fan plant. I had tried them in an older tank when I broke it down and they were just kinda sitting there. I had heard they needed at least 4" of sand and had that in the other tank, but half that in the new tank. Well, I half heartedly threw them in the new tank and actually had cut them off, but the roots took off. I have two of these that popped up out of the sand.

So far they are just gettting tall, I assume they will open up, or fan out....

Yeah, I knew what you meant and could definately see why you thought it was fish...of course now seeing that picture I want one.....
