Posting A Pic

Okay I must be really dumb because I read the thread on how to post a pic like 5 times I am using infranview and am unable to post a picture, I took like a year long break from reef central and I used to know the way to post a pic but now I have no clue so if someone could please give me some instruction in short terms that would be great thanks in advance

I do not have a photobucket account but i never have and I used to be able to post pics

well the only way i know of how to do it is by uploading the pic to the photobucket account and then copy and paste the img tag in the post.

I couldnt post either in the past ,and just found that photobucket is so easy, wish i would have known about it earlier

I'm just like you!lol ...had a hard time ...but the easiest I think is to resize your photo first and then post here on RC gallery. Do you know how to do that? If not I'll tell you, just let me know.
After it's in the gallery ..go to the address at the bottom of picture. Left click on that url and make it "turn blue" ...then right click and the index comes up..click copy (again with right click) then go to your reply box and press paste. After you do this there should be a url in your reply box. If so, then your going to put some bracket code on it. (this will make it show up) At the beginning of the url you will type a

(those brackets are next to your p key on your keyboard)

Thanks lynn I will check that out and try it I know the way to post but I am trying to figure out how to post from my photshop its Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 I will keep working on it thanks guys
