Potassium content in reef crystals

Has anyone ever tested this ?

Or can anyone with a test kit test how much potassium in ppm's is in a fresh batch of reef crystals ( per gallon )

I believe the manufacturer target level of Reef Crystals (and IO) is about 420 ppm potassium.

Hey randy, i've heard from a few people testing it said it was really low, and also i checked the artificial salt mix analysis that said RC was only in the 200's.

Can i ask how you have gathered the information that it is 420 ppm ? im very interested in this.

Testing how is the question though... and how old is this analysis? There's several out there and nearly all are outdated.

Someone in Reef Chemistry posted the Triton results for a freshly mixed batch of IO. The Potassium was 406mg/l
