Potential ICK on Cowfish

I have had a Tetrasomus gibbosus and a four line wrasse in quarantine since 7/7, and I am almost positive that there are a few small white spots on the wrasse's pectoral fins. Both came from Diver's Den which is why they are quarantined together.

Since it has taken so long for anything to show up, I am leaning towards it being ICK and not something like velvet although I am not 100% sure. Due to the sensitive nature of cowfish, I taking pause as to what to do. We have waited years to find one of these again!!! Is TTM the way to go or should I use Ick-Shield (powder, not food)? If TTM is the way to go, I have a few questions:

- How do I move the fish without a net?
- Is it the fourth day in the morning that I move the fish from one tank to another?
- How do you deal with ammonia build up in those days the fish is in there?

Thanks snorvich!

I have another question now, what advantage does the colander have over a net?

Many. Does not tend to stress fish out as much as nets do; does not catch on fish gills or fins; if you get a square one, makes catching fish in corners a snap; easily cleaned and dried
