Potential montipora cap. parasite - help!

I noticed a circular tube shaped thing on the underside of one of my monitpora capricornus frags.
I'm pretty sure it's some kind of worm. There is mucus (I think from the coral) coming out from where the worm thing is. It seems it may have been there a long time.
I don't have a digital camera at the moment, so I don't have a picture...
Can anyone help though?

Ok I've made an interesting observation.
The mucus is apparently the worm's. I saw him suck it back into his mouth, I think.
Perhaps he uses it to catch water-borne particles to eat?
If so, I hope he's not a parasite but just living on the coral...

its a vermitide snail.Not bad but that mucus can bring detritus back to the coral.
