Potential Stocking List - 30G - 25x25x12

The tank is a 30G rimless, starfire - 25x25x12 (22g sump/refugium). With the wide footprint, I believe I could have a decent number of small fish in the tank with plenty of swimming room without running into an overpopulated look.

Please let me know if I'm running into any potentially bad scenarios.

2x Ocellaris Clowns (already have these, 1 BW, 1 regular)
5x Red Spot Cardinals
3x Barnacle Blenny
1x Tailspot Blenny
1x Clown Goby

That would be way too overstocked. Stick with four to five fish max. I'd say keep the clowns, and add the tailspot blenny and the clown goby. Keep in mind though, that if you have corals, the clown goby may nip at some of the corals.

If I ditched the clowns would it still be too many? I can see the clowns getting too big and dominant in the tank, so I understand that part.

What I'm confused about is the other fish. The 5 red spot cardinals are all very small and generally just shoal around the tank. The 3 barnacle blennies would stay in their barnacles the majority of the time and also stay small.

The clown goby and tailspot are also two very small peaceful fish that are more rock perchers than anything and I'm not concerned about having SPS nipped at.

I believe every fish would have a comfortable safe spot in the tank and with my wide footprint everything would have plenty of swimming room.

Am I thinking about this incorrectly? I appreciate the education!

without the clowns and if you keep up on water changes, I think you could do it. I have read that single clowns tend to be less territorial but I do not have experience with that. Good luck.

Hmmm, does anyone have any experience with tailspot and Barnacle blennies fighting with each other? I've never owned two blennies, so I was unaware they would fight with eachother.
