Just a quick note to all. We don't want to be authoritative or anything, but we really need to have original quality images for the POTM contest - at least in relation to the eventuality of putting them in a calender.
At a MINIMUM, we need pictures that have a long resolution of 1024 pixels. For the pics my camera produces, that is typically a 1024x681 pixels. This resolution will produce a barely acceptable picture when printed. HOWEVER, please remember that is a minimum. We are better off with originals. Higher resolutions will produce much better printed pictures.
So, for submitting pics to the POTM contest, please:
1. Turn your camera to the highest quality image it will produce.
2. Take your pictures.
3. Send in to us the ORIGINAL, UNRESIZED pictures.
Lastly, please submit all pics to potm@mycomas.com from now on. This email address stores an archive of all submissions as well as forwarding a copy to myself & Sarah.
