Potters Angel on Hold

Hey guys got a tough question for you. I have a potters angel on hold at my lfs and I'm looking to introduce it to a tank with a flame angel already in it. Any suggestions on how to do it with out any fights occuring. I can't move any of the rocks, they're in a set position. Would it do any good by putting the potters in a small observation tank where the flame angel can see it. They are both the same size.

Is your rockwork one solid wall, or is there any way you could put an eggcrate divider in the tank?

Either way, 50 is pushing it for two centropyge... They may never get along. Or they might after a few days.

The rock work is two mounds with tons of nooks and crannies. The thing is I have done two dwarfs before, flame and red stripe. I really wanted to know if I have a good chance with a flame and a potters. I have seen many people do it before. Would it be a good idea to keep the potters in a small plastic see through container so the two can see eachother for a few days or a week or two?

I would make a divider with egg crate and divide down the middle of your tank, and introduce the potters on the side opposite the flame. Leave the divider there for a few weeks until they get used to seeing each other.

I've done eggcrate divider before but unless the rockwork is high in the tank to hold it in place otherwise a strong powerhead will blow it and leave openning on the side.

Since then I use homemade container to acclimate fish and observe for 3 days before releasing the new fish if I don't see any aggression.

I would go with your original idea and if you don't have one already flameangel showed you some easy to make varieties :) I don't see a problem
