Potter's Angel or Multi Color Angel OK w/SPS?

Hi. Does anyone here have first hand experience keeping either a Potter's Pygmy Angel or a Multi Color Pygmy Angel in a SPS dominated reef tank? I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I had a Bi-color angel that I removed awhile back due to nipping at SPS. I never gave him the chance to see if the nipping would affect the corals or not, I just saw him picking a couple of days and I took him out. Didn't want to chance it.

If you get the potters get it from a reliable source such as divers den. They are not the easiest fish and finding a quality specimen is key.

I found my potter's at phishy business (instore) and it has eaten everything I feed it from day one.

...but, my potter's is not very SPS and LPS friendly. Its a nipper. I have had it with SPS and the SPS grow, but not much PE. With LPS, he nipped them enough to where their polyps never extended, so I moved him to a 20L softy tank by him self. He's too pretty for me to get rid of him.

With any angle it is hit or miss if they are coral pickers. All literature says angels are not reef safe. But we all know thats not 100% true. I have had 2 Pygmy Angels and both of them were fine with corals. The second one picked at a clam so he went. The best angles for a reef are pygmies, potters, rusty, flame, coral beauty and golden. But again none are 100% reef safe, there is always a chance they will pick.

I have a multicolor and a pair of flames and have not had any issues yet. I would go with the potters, although they can be hard to acclimate. I really dunno what the big deal is with the multicolors, they're not that nice IMO

I think I prefer the Potter's too. Such great color. Radioheadx14 what size tank did you have him in with the Small Polyps?
