Potters angel

Went to the LFS to look at frags today and they had a couple little potters angels in very good shape.

I asked how they were eating, and when I saw the one take pellets I was sold. Only $30 too, seems like a steal.

Hopefully he'll play nice.

That is a good price for a Potters, and especially one that is already accepting pellets. Alot of Potters sold in my area (NE/SE PA) did not fare well once in the LFS tanks. Now it seems like the Potters coming in are healthier and readily acceptable to eating flake and frozen even in the LFS. I wonder if collection methods have improved. I know this are one of the dwarf angels notorious for just dying for no apparent reason. I think I have read that the net collected species from Hawaii are the most hardy.Good luck with your new addition, keep us posted.

Right now for fish I have a juvenile blue eye bristletooth tang, masuda hog, flametail blenny, and a tomato clown.

Tang aggression is the thing I'm most worried about at this point. If it comes down to it I'll probably pull the tang. He's been acting odd since I moved him from a 4' to 3' tank (lots of color changes, frantic glass nibbling) and he'll eventually outgrow my current setup (36x18x24, but he's about 2.5" now).

Edit: I also have an evil 4-line who's been living in the sump, but he should be going to the store's frag tank tomorrow.

The tang beat him up for most of the day, but is leaving him alone for the most part now. He's reluctant to leave one corner of the tank, but cruised around when I shut off the pumps for feeding.

Got him to take some flake and pellet food this evening, but he's not interested in brine/mysis/arctipods yet.
