I have a 6" PBT which i bought for my 220g he has been in QT for about 8 weeks. When i put him in the tank my 5"Sohal tang was very aggresive towards him (which i knew he would be but not to the extent he went to). He just kept picking on him for the whole time he was in there. So i knew i had to take out the PBT and put him in my 90 reef. Now i am wondering after getting beat up he has a couple of small gashes from the sohal. Should i treat with anything or just keep the water in prestine condition.
I understand that i shouldn't have put in the tang because of the aggresive nature of the sohal. But when introducing the yellow tang in they chased a bit and did there lil tail dance and that was it. Maybe it was because of the same body type of tang that he would not stop picking. I felt so bad for the PBT. He is in the 90 now with ragged fins and a couple wounds but comes to the glass every time i enter the room. He is eating already too.
