So he seems to be out a bit more this morning, but he's not looking 100% (he's still floating around, but with a little more control if that makes sense). Should I keep raising the salinity or should I keep it at 008?

This is the problem with hypo - in principle it's simple, but the practical application can be troublesome, as you've discovered.
There should be no long term damage from your near-freshwater experience. If you're planning on continuing with hypo, I would keep it at 0.008.
How big is your tank? If you don't have and ATO for it, one trick is to place a piece of tape at the water level when the salinity is at 0.008 and top of manually to that point with DI water. You'll probably want to check a couple times a day.
How are the fish doing otherwise? Are the spots gone?

Yeah I can see this being a PITA. I haven't seen any drop in ways level, I have a top on the tank. As for the fish themselves, I haven't seen any new spots. Some flashing does happen, but I haven't seen any new spots. The blue seems more alert, but still not 100%. He's a lo more active now, but he still has the dorsal fin up all the way (I'm guessin to keep his balance easier?).
I haven't seen the PB eat, but all the foods gone everyday so someone or everyone is eating. I guess I have two choices: stay with hypo, or raise it and do copper. I'm going to see how this goes over the next few days and make sure I'm able to keep the salinity where it's supposed to be. I'd also like to see the PB come back to life more, but I gues time will tell. Ill keep the thread updated as things happen.

So I have a bit of a problem. I was called out on site tomorrow afternoon for a sales conference and I won't be back until Sunday night. Is there anyway I can leave this tank for just under 2 days and have them still alive when I get back?
Could I dose prime before I leave (maybe triple dose it) to take care of ammonia? Then when I get home do a 100% water change? This couldn't have happened at a worse time.

The tangs are doing much better now. The PB is eating well again. The yellow I guess is eating, but he has a bit of a pitched stomach. They're both swimming all around again acting normal so it looks like they're going to make it! This coming Monday will be 3 weeks in hypo, so I'm hoping to have them in the main tank by Thursday. Is that a good time frame?

I believe its 4 weeks in hypo then use a 5th week to raise salinity slowly

I'm not buying 2 mid sized fish at one time anymore. I'm doing 2 water changes a day to keep everything under control, and I'm not liking it too much.

Why do you need to do 2x w/c per day? Ammonia? Could you put them in a larger QT while you're away?

Yeah the ammonia gets to .4 if I leave it for a day. I do a 50% change before work, and a 50% change when I get home from work. I also feed seaweed in the morning and NLS pellets at night.
I already got back from my trip so I'm able to keep up with everything now until they go in the DT. I really just want them in there already so I can get a smaller fish and not do these crazy *** water changes lol.

I'm combating ammonia myself, I put Bio Spira a bacteria culture in the water to help, maybe try that too.

I don't believe in the bacteria in a bottle. The ammonia is a problem, but so is nitrate in the end. I'd still be doing water changes like crazy, I just want this to be over quick lol

So this morning I found something on the PBT. It doesn't look like a salt spot, but it looks like a little white stick coming out of his side. It's about the size of a ich spot, but it's definitely not round. What could this be? The salinity has been .007-.008, could it really be ich still? I thought I was almost done with this nightmare.
