Powder Blue Tang

Live Aquaria,

I'm a long time customer and frequent buyer of Divers Den corals. I had decided to purchase one of your Powder Blue Tangs which as of now you have available in all sizes.

I wanted a 3 inch size tang and was wondering if I should order a small size or a medium? The small is 2- 3 and the medium is 3-4. Which is my better chance of getting a 3 inch? I also wonder if I should wait until you get one on your Divers Den section being those are Cherry picked items?

By the way my tank is 90 Gallon reef stocked with LPS and Anthias, Six line and other small fish. This tank has been up for 3years and I'm upgrading sometime in 2009. This is the reason I want a small one but not to small.

Thank you for contacting us with your great questions. We can certainly request a specific size with any of our items but we apologize we are unable to guaranty that you would receive it. We recommend ordering a medium to give yourself a better chance to get one around 3”. You are certainly welcome to watch our Diver’s Den section to get a specific size. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for your quick response ,no need to apologize for anything either. I'm sorry I wasn't straight forward on my divers den question. But I'm I better off to wait for this item to become available? Are they any healthy in Divers Den?

We apologize for misunderstanding the original question. We checked with our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility and we have two Powder Blue Tangs currently. One is approximately 3” and one is approximately 3 ½”. They should be ready to go on out website within a week or two.
