Had this PB for months now. Went thru ttm no issues. Added some turbo snails to the tank and introduced ich. He was the only fish showing any symptoms so I pulled them all and am fallow going on 7 weeks or so. All fish got ttm and are good. PB has been perfect. Last few days he seems to be breathing heavy and just hanging around. Not his active self. He is in a 20 gallon tank alone, with large pvc fittings, heater, air stone, hang on filter and a powerhead aimed at the surface. Also have a ammonia badge. Have not introduced anything new. I was thinking maybe a small trace of bleach (obviously struggling for a reason) so I changed out at least 90% of the water last night, no change. Any ideas?
