Powder brown sick pls help

i bought a powder brown. Everythin is fine like 2 week. After that it has some looks like cotton points. It is happy but still have these cotton points like 1,5 weeks. What can i do_?

Looks like marine ich to me. Treat in a quarantine tank with copper or hyposalinity at 1.009. Tangs are ich magnets.

Treating the powder brown for ich without treating ALL of the fish is pointless. Ich is in your tank and would need to sit for 8 or more weeks without fish to eradicate it. It looks like you have at least one other tang in the tank with the powder brown...try to keep feeding and keep stress down.

How big is the tank and what are the fish you keep?

Your entire tank is infected. Treating one fish separately is not going to fix the problem.

You need to treat all the fish in a QT tank and leave the display tank fallow for at minimum 8 weeks. Preferably 10-12 weeks to be certain it is eradicated from the display tank.

As for treating the fish, Cupramine or Hyposalinity method are your best bet.

Yes to everything stated above. If you want to see if the fish can just fight it off that is an option, continue to feed viatamin soaked food with garlic added to it. No scientific proff is out there about garlic doing anything but its worth a try.
