powder brown tang food

I bought a powder brown that doesnt eat anything I feed the tank. No flake, pellet, mysis, or the various greens I put on a clip. I do see it picking at the rocks and anything else with algae so it is willing to eat. You think its just a matter of it getting used to tank food, or is this guy just picky? I had a powder brown in the past that ate anything I fed.

Everytime I put a tang in my tank....they don't touch anything for about 3 days or more....then they eat everything in sight.

How long have you had it?If its eating off the rocks thats a great sign. Its just might need some time to adjust? They arent known for being picky eaters but more for being VERY prone to ick.

If it is eating off the rocks. Attach some nori to the rocks with a rubber band. Maybe the clip is spooking the PBT.

Got it wednesday.

My Powder Blue Tang didn't take food on a regular basis for almost 2 weeks. Just picked at the rocks. I wouldn't get concerned yet.
