Powdered Blue tang

So I have this powder blue tang who is currently in a qt tank with two anthias, and a tiny hippo tang. They are being treated for ich with cupramine. We are a few day away from the end of their treatment when a white line showed up on his side with a bit on his fin... it lines up perfectly. I was thinking that maybe he and the hippo got into it a bit but the white seems to have gotten a bit bigger. I guess what I want to know weather or not this looks like it could be something else. And if he and his mate are gonna need further treatment. His is also getting his own qt in a few days to avoid any other battles until the dt is ready for fish again...

Hard to tell what that is from, but it doesn't look disease related.

IMO, looks like it be a swap from the Hippo or he scraped against a rock.

Thanks, I kinda thought that's what it looked like too. I guess I have just been a little paranoid with everyone getting Ich. They normally get along pretty well but these are stressful times. Poor little guys.

Your plan sounds good, hold him for a few days till the white mark goes away to be sure it doesn't become a bacterial or fungal infection. Some prevention will go along way to secure his well being
