Power Compact with Reflector

I know there is something wrong with these since no one seems to use them, but what is the deal with the 125w plus power compact bulbs in a reflector? I know none of these have a listed PAR value which is the best way to judge a bulbs suitability. Also, 6500k is a strange number in these circles but the CRI is pretty high making it very sun-like.

Here are some links:

The purple 25000 kelvin seems really strange. Don't know what that would do if anything for coral growth. Seems kelvin ratings don't have as much to do as actual wattage.

They have some other 125w floating around in the states that are listed with a lumen rating all the way up to 11k. Here is a link to one listed as 8k lumens: 125w bulb

Anyway, fire away on why these suck. I quite sure they do, but would like to know why.
