What are some of you using for a backup plan when it comes to the electricity going out? generators? u.p.s.? and what sizes?

I have an exercise bike hooked up to a generator with a dangling cheeseburger on a stick mounted in front of it. My wife can power the whole town.


Seriously, I use a 5000W Coleman Powermate generator.
