power head blew flesh off!!!

when i did a water change last night i forgot to put my mp 20 back to the proper setting and it blew the flesh off one of my birdsnest frags. What are the odds its gonna make a come back? about a third of it is perfectly white but all the polyps that remain are fully extended. its fairly small so im not too worried but if theres anything i can do to help it i will. thanks

Leave it in, the dead parts may get grown over. You'll have to watch out that they don't start growing algae on them profusely because that will prevent new growth and endanger the surviving growth--but a CUC usually takes care of that. If the dead parts become a problem trim them off.

Just let it be.

it had a bit of algae on it shortly after i brought it home but i tooh it off and it never came back. i dont have a cuc. what kind of cuc is good for a 65 gallon tank? the problem with trimming is it most of the main stalk. it could be trimmed with something left to save but it will have to be seprate branches. can the branches be cut off and regenerate or does the main stalk half to be in there?
