Power Heads, how many?

How many power heads should i get for a 65 gallon tank?

I was thinking two or three koralia 1 power heads. How does that sound?

it depends on what you want to keep in the tank. fish only, softies, LPS, or SPS or mix of what?

if you keep SPS you want about 40X turn over in the tank 2,600 gph turn over. if I remember right the K#2 is 600 gph so that would be 4 K#2 would be good. if you are going with LPS or softies I would go with about 15X - 20X turn over.

The Koralia 1 is def too low, you should be looking at 3s probably.

It depends on which corals you are trying to keep. If you are keeping some soft corals you won't need much flow, enough to keep detritus suspended. One on each side should be good, better if you can alternate them and get some turbulence going.

Agree with everything stated above. I would be looking at a minimum of 2 K3. K1 is definately not enough regardless of what type of tank.
