I wanted to know some good sites to order saltwater equipment?

Also looking for new power heads any suggestions? I have a 75g tank in process of changing from FOWLR to reef. I want to keep lps and later with experience sps.

I alway get stuff from bulk reef supply, as to pumps I would go with tunze, voretech, or hydor. I love using vortech do to their clean look, no wires in the tank.

Look on theater about jebo wp40.. I just ordered it.. cant wait to see how it work.. a lot pp like it.. check it out... save $$$$ for sth else..

Tunze and vortech are pretty expensive. I heard hydor have issues with starting in reverse when used with wavemaker? Are they still reliable?

Pretty much any sponsor here is good you can cross check their pricing but since you are in Canada I guess shipping will be a big factor.

The Vortechs are worth every penny from what U hear. If you can save and buy them I would. Hydor is good though if you can't and is what I run. I have 2 Hydor 4's on there Wavemaker Basic 2 Contoller. I wish I had spent the extra money on the Vortech much better and wider flow

Ok I was looking into the hydor with the waveflow controller from hydor. But I am debating with vortech and price

I replaced hydor koralias with sicce voyagers in my tank. I had 3 koralias stop working after about 18 months. I also had issues with them starting backwards (even though that is supposedly fixed). If you plan on doing a lot of stop/start with the pumps, I'd avoid the koralias. The sicce aren't possible to start backwards cause it's not a propeller...they are dead silent, and the mount lets you point the pump any direction you can imagine. They aren't the prettiest pumps, but not bad looking IMO and a much better pump in my experience. My only complaint is that I had one pump off for a while and my blenny backed itself into one of the openings... When the pump turned back on, he was done for :-/. I still am surprised he could fit into that opening though! It's not very big...

Bulkreefsupply, Dr's Fosters and Smith, Aquacave, and Marinedepot

I have used all of those plus Salty Supply and have been pleased with them all. Foster Smith is a great place to buy salt since orders over $49 ship free and there is no added charge for salt weight.

I have JBJ Oceanstream 1600s in my 90. They are 100% reliable and completely silent. Price wise they are competitive with Hydors but they don't have problems with noise or starting in reverse. I have a Red Sea Wave master so i dont know about the controller, but you can find a package with 2 power heads and the controller for a very reasonable price.
I could see myself upgrading to controllable Tunes one day, but Vortechs are out of the question, too much of an eyesore IMHO.

I've been running the Sicce Voyager pumps for about a month and I think they're terrific. For a tank the size of yours, I would suggest the Voyager 4. I'm sure the other pumps are wonderful, but the price on the Sicce convinced me to try them and I'm not sorry.

you can't go cheap on equipment especially when you're going to be putting in hundreds and thousands of dollars worth of corals in your tank.

my first build I went cheap and got no where I need to be. My 2nd build I went all out. Makes a world of a difference. I pretty much only do water/media/filter changes.
