Power out in St Charles, Mo

Wife just called. Power is out. Seems there is about 2200 out of power right now. Estimated time it should come up is 4:45. Bah. I am sure my tanks will be fine. Hope no one else lost power.

looks like it is back up. Crazy. A week or so ago there was some down lines that caused the power to go out. Wonder if someone hit the same pole again lol.

There's tornado or severe weather warnings north of the St. Louis area. Maybe some power grid needed switched or something.

oh really? don't tell my wife. she freaks out with tornados. Guess the power was down for about 20-30 minutes.

If the power goes out what do you guys do? In my freshwater tanks I use battery powered air pump hooked up to a sponge filter. I don't have any idea about saltwater. Maybe I should start thinking about this.

I have an air bubbler I can use and an inverter if I need one. Power is pretty stable at my place. only lost it 3 times so far in the last 3.5 years. 2 have been in the last month lol.

I dont recall ever losing power in 7 years out here but I have so much in my tank that it would be crazy not to.

i have a tunze 6000 conected to a battery back-up that will run it 8 hours

and i have a generator --- power has never gone out either
