power out/it calls cell, do they make?

Do they make a devise that will call you if your power goes off? or if you detect water on the floor? I think I heard that they make such a thing.I think that it would be a great investment.

I thought that the Aquacontroller could only send you an email as an alert can it call you as well? Also in order for the Aquacontroller to send an alert on a power failure, you must have the Aquacontroller and your modem on a backup power source. Which would be the case with any type of similar device.

I build homes for a living, and alot of these homes are used for weekend purposes. So I always recomend that my clients contract out with an alarm company, they will notify him if the power goes out or the temp gets to low, the usuall scenarios. (winters are bad here) once you pay the setup fee, the monthly fee is relativly cheap.

BTW the Pocono's are beautiful. I love that area of Pennsylvania. You are very lucky to live there. Except in the winter
