Power Outage - Who is out?

Just woke up in Florissant and I have no power. Generator is running and tanks are now ok. Since we have more bad weatehr coming over the next few days, I expect it is only going to get worse.

If someone is out of power and does not have a generator, I can try and help with your livestock in. Fuge and Frag tank have plenty of room. Worst case scenerio, we put things in containers with powerheads / heaters.

I know this is all contingent on people getting online and being able to see this note.

Just curious, are the phone lines made of stronger cable?????

This is the third major power outage here in Florissant in the last 8 months, but we have never lost the phone lines......

:eek1:

I was wondering if you would escape this time....i guess not! :(
Lots of ice in Wentzville, but we still have our power. Probably because we don't have Ameren.

South City is still good...I am not sure for how long but if someone needs a warm place for themselves or livestock let me know.

Lots and lots of ice/snow/nasties here, a total of about 3 inches thus far I'd say. I'm still good to go, but Sunday isn't here yet :(

still have power but there was a flicker before I left for work this morning.

hopefully it warms up a tad today and melts out some ice.

I am glad you have power and were able to stay warm last night. hehehe

I hope everyone is able to pull through this storm with no losses. I know the feeling, as I lost EVERYTHING I had in my 90g RR during the summer power out. I'm just starting to rebuild to a point. If I can help just ask. Best wishes to all.

Just got rain here in Highland, no ice, but then it is only saturday afternoon. We got a day and ahalf to go. My prayers are out there for everyone.

Well, it is 11:30pm and still no power. I am getting used to the hum of the generator at this point.... Have enough gas to run until Monday evening. Hopefully the next 24 hours does not cause more outages and Ameren can actually fix my street.

I've been out since 12:30 Friday night. Yes, still out. The tank bottom out at 68.5 before I could get the generator up. The temp came back up at about 1/2 degree an hour. Surprisingly everything is doing great.... Cross the fingers and wait for the long term..
