power strip/timer question

My lighting system will have 12k,Actinic, and lunar. I want to do the usual setup; actinic on 1st,then 12k, 12k off,actinic off, and later lunar on and then off.
My question is will the Coralife Digital Power Center Wave Maker/Light Timer do this. I dont quite understand after reading the description, as it appears that only two timers work at once?
Also what does the wavemaker outlet do? and what are the other outlets?
It would be great if this strip will allow me to get rid of the extra timers.
If this doesnt work is there one out there that does?

If I was you. I'd just goto Wal-mart, HD, Lowe's, or ? and get a timer like close to the picture below.

I've had too many Corallife timers go bad on me. However I have never had the Digital one.

How many outlets does it control and can you set 3 different lights on 3 different timers?

Each timer only controls one outlet. I have 3 different timers on my lights.

They cost about $15 each and cane hold around 20 different programs depending on which model you get.

I have one of those coralife units and I wouldn't recommend it. The way it works is you can set the timer to several on/off cycles. When the power is set to "on" both of the color (yellow I think) outlets come on while the other color outlets turn off. When the timer is set to "off" it does the opposite. The other outlets on the power strip are not controlled and always on. The "wave maker" is a setting that just turns the power on and off randomly between the two sets of colored outlets (I've never used that feature so I'm not 100% sure about that). For what you want to do you would be better off doing what atvdave said. Or, if you want to spend some money, you could buy a controller and be able to set your lights up as well as a lot of other equipment, but thats a different thread. :rollface:

Here is a link with a ton of info on the different controllers. I have a Reefkeeper 2 and love it, but you may find that one of the other controllers fit your needs better. Happy reading!

Yeah stay away from that coralife junk... there is a thread here someplace where one burned an RCers room down LITERALY!
