Power supply 12V setting?

Are there any problems associated with operating the osmolator at the 12V setting on the power supply? I see that the pump is rated for 12V. Thanks

The pump will last longer and run quieter at 9V, at 9v the transformer puts out almost 11v, at 12v it is about 14v

so the controller and pump can handle the extra voltage fine? It will just be a little bit louder?

Yes, a bit louder and the pump life will be a bit shorter.
