Power supply troubles

Hi Roger,

I have two 6101 w/ a multi controller on my 280. I learned this last weekend that one was not working. After cleaning and some trouble shooting I learned that the pump would work on the other power supply so it seems the power supply is the issue. Please let me know what I can do to rectify the problem.

Thanks!

How old or long ago did you purchase the pump? There is a two year warranty, from date of purchase with a receipt or production date of the pump.

They are around a couple of years old without looking. The pump is just fine, it is the power supply that is the issue. I'm hoping Roger will have some advice on service/replacement.

If the power supply is less than 2 years old and didn't get wet, if you send it in we will replace it under warranty. They are not too terribly expensive, about $60. It is part 6101.240.

It definitely didn't get wet. I honestly think I have had them for approximately 18 months, but I'm having trouble locating the exact purchase date.

Send it in, but please see if you can find a copy of the receipt, most dealers can pull one up if you lost it, worst case the power supplies do have a date code and I can use that as a rough guideline.

Thanks, I will send it in. I will continue to try and find the purchase information. Also, I am thinking of adding a third stream as my SPS begin to grow in. Would a 6105 be a good addition?
