Will a normal house outlet work for a 48ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ metal halide fixture with 2 150w hiq and 2 96w compact fluorescent?

Probably, but it depends on how much is plugged in there and how many other outlets are on the same breaker. To test, plug something into all the outlets and turn them on, then turn of the breaker and see what doesn't work anymore. We just added 2 outlets each on a dedicated 20 amp breaker for our new tank, and it might not be enough.
