Powerbrite LED lights - stay on how long?

Finally hooked up the powerbrite's I had sitting around for 2 years. Do they stay on all the time or should they be timed to go off with other lights?

They make a great supplemental lighting, too much light for moonlighting. I keep my reefbrites (alternative to powerbrite) on for 12 hours and turn my actinics on 30 after in the AM and off 30 minutes before in the PM

Hi Carol,I would not keep them on all the time..I did that once and burned some sps I had right below them..Mine look great as the last hour of the day lighting for the whole reef..

I have 3 links going up the front side and 3 links going down the back side,looks really nice..
