powerhead - bubbles or no bubbles..

quick question.. (I saw someone asked this before but I can't find the thread...sorry)

when using a powerhead.. is it better with bubbles or without..

I just added rio600 rtv..and it creates amazing amount of bubbles.. so i just disconnected the air tube...

should I put it back?

I would say no bubbles. Just make sure you have good surface current.

No bubbles but aim it in such a way you create surface agitation for oxygen transfer.
