Powerhead placement for wavemaker

I'm setting up a first reef tank. I'd appreciate thoughts re best placement of power heads to be used with a wavemaker. Ahould they be placed on the sides of the tank facing each other and alternated with the wavemaker? Alternatively should they be placed on the back pointing toward the front? Other arrangments?

Any suggestions re camouflaging them without making them to hard to service or replace (if required) would also be appreciated.

The placement of power heads all depends on where you need more flow. That all depends on where the liverock is placed, since tha rock will create deadspots around and behind it. Get the rock in and then decide where you want and need more flow.

Yep, it's really going to be up to you to play around with placement. It's different for every tank (coral placement, rock placement, etc) You will find that perfect place for them in time.
