Powerhead Placement: Which Diagram U like better?

So I have a 90 gallon and need help with attaining a "flow goal". It is a mixed reef, so top of rock SPS, Middle LPS/Zoas, Bottom Softies......therefore I am looking for a powerhead placement config where I got tons of flow up top, medium in the middle, and low flow down below. I have 2 Korilla 3s and 2 Korrila 4s to work with.....check out my diagram....which method would be better for my desired flow pattern. Perhaps they both are crappy? Given my rockplacement, I think most of you may be able to help me.....Thanks

Btw-...from my thinking, I plan to have all 4 powerheads close to top surface to agitate it, but also reduce flow down below...this correct thinking?

Powerhead placement is different from tank to tank and how much flow your powerhead puts out. Also where is your return line going to be? That will add more flow and could also disrupt the flow of the other powerheads. You just have to turn them on and play with them to see which spots are being hit. If you have a sandbed with fine sand, you will want to try to eliminate a sand storm. Powerheads hitting off a rock will direct the flow different. Its just trying to hit that sweet spot. I have 2 koralia evo on a 4ft tank and just stuck them in the back corners and my return line is sitting in the middle branching out with 2 lines. Ones goes to the right and one goes to the left. Still getting the parting of the sandbed in the middle of the tank. So I still have to adjust.

Case in point. Just play with it until you get it where you like it and don't cause a sand storm if you have a sand bed.
