Powerheads off while adding fish?

Should I turn off powerheads to let the fish acclimate more to the tank? I never have but, now I feel I should be doing that. Thanks in advance.

I don't really see a need to turn off the powerheads.

not the powerheads, but the lights, if you have any in your quarantine tank.
