Powerheads

So, what are the best powerheads for a seahorse tank? I know Koralia's aren't great because horses can get their tails hurt in them. I've also read that Maxijets aren't ideal either but I'm not exactly sure why. So what brands do any of you use or recommend?

"BEST" is in the eyes of the hobbyist.
As long as it provides the circulation you want as well as the protection needed then that's all that is needed.
I use Hagen 802 power heads with quick filter attachments, as well as Aquarium systems Mini-Jet 404.
The mini keeps food circulating in the water column at feeding time when the sump return and 802 turn off, and the 802's filter attachment filters out the floating particles after feeding. I clean the filter every other day to prevent bacterial build up.

As rayjay sez, it's a subjective question. Personally, I hate PH's and the way they look in my setups, so I don't use them (I try to design the flow into my systems) unless I REALLY need one and can't get around it (such as driving a chiller in a non-sump system).

MJ's are fine...just use the little input guard that comes with them so the SH can't get sucked into the PH.
