Powerheads???

I need to get some powerheads for my 90 gallon corner. I cannot afford to get a Mp40 right now. What should I get? I would love to have a way to control pulses without breaking the bank.

I'd look at a couple of Tunze 6055s or even 6095s. They are pricey but about half the price of the Vortech. You could buy a 7095 controller used for $100 or control it with your Apex or other controller. What kind of budget are you working with>

not really sure. I want to stay as cheap as I can so I can get a couple AI SOL. I think I may get a couple Koralla. What size heater do you think? I have a 90 display with a 30 sump.

the new maxi jets are good and move alot of water and also includes the fitting for circulation and they are cheap

I ordered a mag 9.5, SRO2000, 2- koralla 750, and a visi therm 400 watt heater. Hopefully that will get me going.

I would go with the Koralia controllable powerheads and a controller if money were tight. Otherwise I'm a Tunze fan.

Sounds like your on the right track with your budget. Too many times people over spend on items they don't need, I am one of those. lol, BUT everything I have is used and has a reason for being there.
