How long should I wait to go get a generator? Anybody else lose power?

When my power went out, my tank heated up reeeal fast (to 91 degrees in 2 hours fast.) Make sure you have loads of ice and ziplocks standing by. I'd say if power is not back on by night time, TEP might not get it fixed till the morning. Just my experience. Luckily most Home Depots are open somewhat late. Good luck!

So I waited a bit and it never came back on. I called the TEP hotline and the recording said it would be off for 8 hrs. I figured I better go get a generator from work and when I came back the power was back on. Oh well.

Keep it for the night. With all of the shenanigans with power poles etc, you just don't know what could happen yet.

For sure. Its a spare generator we dont use anyways, I think Ill just keep it for the summer
