I don't spot feed any of my corals.. I just feed my fishes and if they catch something, they normally close up.. dunno if they actually take the food in.. these guys do grow in spurts like stated above.. they sometimes go a couple of weeks without any new babies and sprout 2-4 in a week... it's good to have a good number of them on a colony (in my case, mini colony.. ) so you have a better chance of seeing new growth more often..

I just placed an order for some of these yesterday!!
Well luckily they are backed up and didn't plan on shipping till next week so i will have them taken off my order.

Made contact with quality marine life and they said the sent the wrong frag, in fact from the pictures I sent him, he didnt even know what they were. but once again I am back on a list of people that are supposed to get them next week. Needless to say I will not be ordering from them ever again.

their shipping is soo slow its not even funny. I paid for this order a month ago and it took them 3 weeks to ship it, then they shipped the wrong thing. This is very dissappointing to me.

I would advise everyone to stay away from this company. They seem shady at best.

They are always backed up. He told me the same thing 3 weeks ago.

I have some real PPes. I am fragging Monday and then letting them sit for one more week. I will have at least three frags with a minimum of 5 polyps each. I am thinking 220 shipped next day with heat packs. Considering they usually go for 50 a poylp I think this is fare. Anyone wants to pm go ahead and I will hold some for you. I wont have pics till after they are fragged. Cameras off getting repaired. But will send anybody who wants them pics after that.

I get 1-2 polyps per month. They are on the bottom of my 58G About 22 inches below a 20K 150W XM and 2 x 65W actinics. Sorry the picture is so blue.

Yup these guys are something alright i called Friday after checking to see if my card had been billed which it had not to cancel my order and spoke with with the guy he said sure no problem told him why said sure thing. sure enough i check Friday night and they billed me anyways!! which screwed my order i had planned on placing last night.
now they aren't responding to e-mails or answering the phone.

Class act these guy are appearing to be.

i will wait till Monday if its not back then i will file a dispute already talked to my card company so not a huge deal for me I just cant believe he doesn't make contact to at least give me an excuse lol.
post up some pics of your new batch of "PPE" when the arrive I am interested to see what he sends you.

I also ordered a frag of ppe from quality. They said it will be the "real deal ppe" no fake ones here. They are located a little north of me so if there is any problems, I will just go there myself. I was told that the ppe wont be ready for a few days and the amount sold will be limited.

Needless to say I am very unhappy with this. On top of taking 2 and a half weeks to get them to me.

i would have an absolute fit... bother them to close up and snap a shot of the stem... then show them the stems of your reds (the white dashes)..

if those were advertised as PPE's you should have seen them and known, but this is flat out wrong... thats a 10 dollar frag in any LFS.

man, i dont even think i'd pay 10 for that frag... be very polite on the phone and extremely persistant with them .

Thats ridiculous, that frag isnt even worth $5, What did aquacon do? Never heard about that story. Personally, I wouldnt buy from a store that has "con" in the name.....lol. I would send them like 50 emails, faxes, phone calls, ect. everyday till they give you all your money back.
