Prazipro directions

I had a fluke on some new fish I purchased and prazipro is what I used.

The directions to me on the bottle aren't that great, it states how many oz per gallon as well as for 5-7 days but it doesn't really talk about number of doses.

On another forum I found a discussion on this product, the consensus the was one treatment isn't enough to guarantee results. They suggested one week with the meds in the water, then do a water change, add skimming and all that stuff for a 2nd week. Then the 3 rd week do another prazipro treatment.

Just thought I would pass it on, the stuff does seem to work really well! All the fish are back to normal! Tomorrow starts my 2nd week of the process.......

I always dose once, do a 25% WC 5-7 days later and then immediately do a second dose.

This way you get the Flukes and the second generation from any eggs they left behind.

I do pretty much the same, and I may even do a third round of Prazi if I see or suspect flukes.

The wc is to remove any dead parasites that may contribute to bioload.

What about soaking the food in prazipro for 5 days? This is what my LFS recommended. Not dosing in the tank.
