1. After dosing prazi 3 days ago my tank now has what looks like dandruff in the water column, are these all flukes or what, i mean theres millions

2. My fish has slowly been eating less and less since ive dosed now my cbb doesnt eat mysis at all just picks off the rock, he was eating great before dosing

3. How do i know when the fish is cured? I cant catch him the way my LR is setup, im going to redose in 2 days. BUT the fish still exhibits minor symptoms, shaking a fin here and there, slight yawning, the fish has now gone very lethargic since dosing he usually stays behind the rocks whereas he was always at the glass begging for food before..

If the "dandruff" didn't appear till after you dosed Prazi it more than likely is flukes. Since it's been 3 days the Prazi is basically inactive at this point. Do a large water change and wait a couple of days before you dose again. In the mean time try to get the fish to eat. Based on the number of flukes you will probably have to dose at least two more times. Also be sure you have some antibiotics on hand. Secondary infections are common after severe fluke infestations.
Unfortunately the only way to know 100% that the fish are cured is to do skin and gill scrapes and look under a microscope. Without such you can only go by if the fish is asymptomatic for a few weeks.

Thx for the reply boss.

What i dont understand is, he is my first fish. Ive only had him for 2 weeks, so the only flukes in my tank came off his body. do flukes really multiply that fast?

Today is day 4, im going to 25% WC tomorrow and redose. That was the plan anyways. Tonight i might wc instead and dose tomorrow after reading your comment.

Im not too worried about him eating bc i see him eating off the rocks, i watch him a lot. It just seems like he cant keep mysis down or it hurts his throat. He will eat one then not touch anymore where as before i dosed he ate almost 100 mysis a day. He also has put on visible weight, all of last week before i dosed i fed him 5-6 times a day so he should be okay for another dose.

Finally, what kind of antibiotics? can you recommend a specific product? and how would i know if he needs them?

Ciproflaxin is a broad spectrum gram negative antibiotic easily obtainable. I use it for anemones but it is made for fish. Antibiotics should be a last resort since it will kill your good bacteria too and ammonia will rise with each feeding. If the fish has sores or cuts or a stomach issues like worms and/or gill flukes antibiotics can help. It will not kill flukes or worms, just bacteria issue that can be related/caused by them

Given that the flukes and eggs were in different stages you can have quite a population. Not to mention that fluke eggs can produce hundreds of oncomiridium. I had the same experience with an angel that had a hard time eating but he got through it.
I used Maracyn 2 but others have used Furan. It really depends on the symptoms which can be varied. Keep the water super clean and feed vitamins that will help reduce the chance of infections.

Well im going to WC and redose today.. 5 days from now if he is still showing symptoms ill repost

I also have a bacterial bloom going on now, which i diagnosed by google images and comparing my tank lol. It went from crystal clear of my avatar pic to now a cloudy white color where you cant see the tank from the side view. so im not sure what this all means but my fish seems happy although still lethargic and only eating pods
