prazipro question....

so i'm an idiot and forgot to take the carbon out of my QT when i just dosed the prazipro.....what do i do? water change and try again or wait 7 days then take the carbon out and redose? Carbon just removes the med correct?

Just re-dose it, but in all reality it's better as a dip or in the food.

Your problem is dosage. How long was the carbon in? 24 hours, or 5 minutes?

Its been in for a couple weeks. I just Don't want to overdose especially since I have a borb anthia in there and there not the cheapest fish on earth. How do you dose in food? Do u remove the carbon for that?

I would redose - just have a water change and carbon ready in case you see anything funky start to happen

I would treat it like a second dose as per the directions. Just do a large water change and re-dose.

Just to complicate things; much carbon, like the stuff that comes with filters or filter sponges won't absorb much of anything anyhow.

I wouldn't just assume this carbon absorbed much of anything. Good carbon does, cheap doesn't. You can (just for the fun of it) test carbon with some dyed water; but to be fair, the carbon should be used a week or so first.

The carbon in the tetra is about a month old and the one in th sponge filter is a week old but there is very little in it. How do I dose it with food?
