Pre Filter

I removed the sponges from my Aquapod 24 gal. Advise gained from this forum. I was wondering if there is a way to make a pre filter?

you could go with either filter floss and chang it out on a weelky basis depending on your bio load. You could put a Puarapad in the first chamber right before the overflow into the next chamber. The other thing you could do is plumb in a canister filter and put both your mechanical and chemical filtration in there
